There is problems with adding Spotify to Android auto so I’m going to show you how to do that it’s not too hard to do and let’s get straight into this

Step 1: Open Android Auto Settings

All right so the first thing you want to do is go into your search little bar your little search bar click on your search bar um if you can’t find Android auto just type in Android auto in the search bar and then you’ll see here where I’m like clicking where it says Android auto you obviously click on that um and then scroll down and it’s the bottom one on uh Android auto you click on Android auto obviously so I click on that.

Step 2: Enable Developer Mode

Okay so here is what you have to do and it’s not actually too hard it but it’s tricky like if you don’t know man you’re going to be lost but once you know you know so yeah anyway let’s get into it man. So scroll all the way down to the bottom like the whole bottom of this screen and you click on version okay right but you have to click on version 10 times so click on version 10 times so just watch me so ready 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 and then you’ll have a popup saying allow development settings.

Just ignore all the the stuff that’s here um the only thing that really Chang changes is the fact that you can add moded applications to Android auto which you want obviously um it’s not illegal or nothing so yeah obviously it’s just modded applications you can add so click okay and then once you see developer mode added or enabled scroll up to the top again see on the top right corner it’s got the free little dots here click that just make sure that you have closed developer mode there so you are in developer mode which means you will get the modded Spotify application working so just click anywhere else to get rid of it.

Step 3: Customize the Launcher

Go back down where General is here where I’m clicking click on customize launcher click on that you’ll see all your applications that are enabled on Android auto currently so all this is enabled you know calendar gam snacks Maps messages messenger news phone settings WS if you have ways WS is really good compared to normal um Google Maps so I would recommend using that if you haven’t used ways I’ll make a video to download ways and set that up anyway but let’s continue.

You know got WhatsApp customize and then all the way down here you will have you will have hidden apps and these are pretty much your like modded applications or applications that Android auto does not recognize. So obviously right you’re going to click on the little square next to Spotify onto the right here here you click on that and now it’s going to be showing up with every upload sorry Ever every every other application on your car on your touchcreen or whatever in your car so that should be cool.

So what you going to do is yeah tick that so it’s ticked with all these other applications go back on the back bar and then just double check for example so click back on your customized LA and then scroll down until you see spottify so you see it’s still here right so it’s still there which means that it should 100% work unless unless you need to update your moded Spotify application um it should still work but it’s more than likely to up update your Spotify if you have to do it and that’s easy obviously if you’ve already got it modded through your own source make sure you update it.

Step 4: Restart and Connect

And then you can just click the top left Arrow get out of that get out of everything probably best to restart your whole phone and then start it back up and give your car you know turn your car on your Kee or your push button and then wait a couple minutes connect your phone back to your Android auto and then you should H have uh your newly added modified Spotify on there and then you should be fine 100% good to go.
